Peppered Shrimp alfredo made from recipe with sustainable seafood
Yields3 Servings

A delicious sustainable seafood twist on a classic favorite.

 12 oz Penne pasta/fettuccine noodle
 1 (15 oz) jar Alfredo sauce
 ¼ cup butter
 ½ cup grated Romano cheese
 ½ cup sour cream
 1 tsp teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
 Salt and pepper to taste
 ¼ cup chopped Parsley
 2 tbsp olive oil
 1 onion diced
 2 cloves garlic, minced
 1 bell pepper, diced
 1 lb shrimp, peeled

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil

Add pasta and cook 8-10 minutes until al dente, drain.

Melt butter with olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat

Stir in onion, and cook until softened and translucent (2 minutes)

Stir in the shrimp and cook until pink. Pour in Alfredo sauce, Romano cheese, and cream

Bring to a simmer stirring constantly until thick, about 5 minutes

Stir drained pasta into the sauce and sprinkle with parsley
